Shah Rukh Khan’s Son Aryan Khan Among Three Arrested By NCB In Mumbai Cruise Party Case-Reports
An India Today report says that NCB has asked for custody of Aryan Khan and two others for a few days.
The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has arrested three persons, including Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan, after they were questioned in the wake of Saturday night’s raid on a cruise ship off Mumbai coast, an Indian Express report has confirmed. In the raid, the NCB busted an alleged rave party and seized several drugs including cocaine, mephedrone and ecstasy. Arbaaz Merchant and Munmun Dhamecha have also been arrested.
According to an India Today report, Aryan Khan has been arrested by the NCB under Section 8(c), 20(b), 27 and 35 of NDPS Act.
"Aryan Khan and two others were arrested on Sunday at 2pm, for involvement in consumption, selling and purchasing of contraband. The accused have been arrested in connection with the seizure of 13 grams of cocaine, 5 grams of MD, 21 grams of charas, 22 pills of MDMA (ecstasy) and 1.33 lakhs in cash," an NCB statement said.
The report added that NCB has asked for custody of Aryan Khan and two others till October 5. In its statement, the NCB reportedly said that even as the offences are bailable there have been cases where custody is granted.

Senior lawyer Majeed Memon told Etimes, “The accused is alleged to be a member in the rave party from where some contraband was found in violation to provisions of NDPS Act. It appears that the quantity allegedly attributed to him for personal consumption is in small quantity and not in commercial quantity and therefore, the offence will be bailable.”
The NCB officials earlier told Indian Express they had received information about the rave party being organised in the passenger cruise ship which was to leave for Goa on Saturday evening. Another report published in India Today quoted Sameer Wankhede, Zonal Director of NCB as confirming Aryan Khan's involvement in the matter.
Meanwhile, before the arrest, actor Suniel Shetty had reacted to the chaos. Speaking to media at an event, Suniel was quoted by ANI news agency as saying, “When a raid is conducted at a place, many people are taken into custody. We assume that a particular boy must have consumed it (drugs). The process is on. Let's give that child a breather. Let real reports come out. Whenever something happens in Bollywood, the media scrutinises everything and jumps to conclusions. Give the child a chance. Let the truth come out. It is our responsibility to take care of the child.” ALSO READ: Shah Rukh Khan’s Son Aryan Khan Among Those Being Questioned By NCB In Mumbai Cruise Party Case-Reports
